People that Bring an Entirely Different View of the Desert and Plants to us.

When photographers like Bill Steen and Steve Trimble or artists like Paul Mirocha and Ellen McMahon bring us an entirely different view of the desert and its plants, it is often not through embellishment, but through focusing on what the rest of us seldom see but is always there.

The same is true with scientists who choose not to investigate not for what others have already seen, but what most of us have missed before our very eyes.

Just as our society needs astronauts and argonauts, we desperately need more aridonauts to explore the inner spaces and interspaces of our Planet Desert.
