After completing writing the first draft of a novel about the Emptying of Syria, and then having my laptop hard drive burn up (fortunately without losing 444 pages!), I’ve had to ask myself how best to use both my time & the resources I have during this period of chaos, conflict and chronic uncertainty.
So the last couple weeks, I’ve been putting my times into means to further empower youth of all races & indigenous communities in particular to safeguard their lands, waters, food-producing capacity & means of democratic governance.
We live in a time of fear, when predicting horror stories of possible future conflicts is in vogue… but we need to move from fearing to flourishing, from anger to action & affirmation of what most matters to us.
Give as much of your time to empowering youth to do the right thing: The future is theirs.
