If we take seriously our responsibility to be fully-engaged citizens of this Earth, not just of this nation state called the USA, how does that change what we invest our time to restore balance to this earth?
That is why I am so proud of the thousands of veterans that have decided to bus into Standing Rock to show solidarity with our Native American brothers & sisters who have been there all along.
It puts protection & restoration of our common home on a level as high or higher, than merely defending our political and economic interests overseas.
To all of you who are there now or have put in time and prayers there the last few months, know that a thousand more for each of you fully support your efforts, your convictions, your courage and you care for the earth.
