Why we should all be involved with restoring our watersheds and foodsheds.

Gary-Paul-Nabhan-1-85x85At the City of Gastronomy celebrations at Tucson Meet Yourself Saturday, representatives of the San Xavier Co-op Farm on the Tohono O’odham Reservation gave a straight-forward but elegant reason why we should all be involved with restoring our watersheds and foodsheds:

“We need to continue and expand community-based education programs that keep alive our discussions of everything entailed in truly taking care of our land and water, so that when we need them there, they will continue to be there for our people and for all other lives dependent upon them.”
